Recently, Guardian Jet Center hosted the Annual Volunteer Appreciation event for the Bob Hope USO. The organization had a brunch and awards ceremony in the hangar event space. All had a wonderful morning recognizing the volunteers at Ontario International Airport, March Air Reserve Base, and Fort Irwin for all they do to support service members and their families. Thank you volunteers and thank you Bob Hope USO!
Guardian Jet Center is a proud sponsor of the Heroes Wear Helmets Nine & Dine Golf Classic. Hosted by the Greater Ontario Business Council, we'd like for you to join us in supporting The Ontario Chamber of Commerce Foundation Military Programs.
The event takes place at Hidden Valley Golf Club on Thursday, September 9.
Guardian Jet Center is featured in the "Made in Ontario" Series. The series, created by the city, provides our community with testimonials from business and organization leaders on why Ontario is the most business-friendly city in Southern California, how Ontario is strategically located for business success and is the perfect place where you can live, work and play.
It's always exciting when NASCAR comes to town! Each year Guardian Jet Center welcomes NASCAR teams and fans as they arrive and depart through in Ontario, California.
NASCAR always delivers us a full ramp. The occasion requires plenty of hardwork, teamwork, good communication and lots of coordination. I'm proud of our team, they always step up to help ensure our guests enjoy smooth travel.
Here are some photos taken over the years that show what Guardian Jet Center is like when NASCAR comes to town.
Recently at Guardian Jet Center we had an event for Bob Hope USO of Inland Empire. These volunteers have impacted the lives of over 70,000 service members and their families through our centers at Ontario International Airport and March ARB, and throughout the community. Today and every day we give them thanks for their countless selfless acts of caring and their commitment to supporting our troops and their families 365 days a year!
Guardian Jet Center has received approval to put the Guardian West ramp back in operation.
Construction at Guardian West continues on the new hanger and offices, but the strengthening of the Guardian West ramp is finished. General Manager Dan LeBouf said, "Reinforcing the ramp means that we will be able to accommodate heavier aircrafts. This added flexibility supports the enthusiasm and growth in the Inland Empire.”
During construction Guardian East was opened. The facility allowed Guardian Jet Center to maintain operations during construction on the ramp and provide as smooth a transition as possible. Guardian Jet Center's high quality service went uninterrupted. Guardian East will now operate for overflow only parking.
Now that the Guardian West ramp is back in operation Lebouf said, "Things are back to normal."
Customers can expect the same high level of service as always and can look forward to the new hangar and offices. Construction will be completed in December.
In the Guardian Jet Center lobby we often hear travellers and pilots share an idea that we’ve always known to be true: It is so much nicer to fly from (or to) here instead of LAX or SNA.
Ontario International Airport (ONT) is a public airport about 40 miles east of Downtown Los Angeles in Ontario, California.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the largest international airport in California. It is located 18 miles southwest of Downtown Los Angeles.
John Wayne Airport (SNA), located in Santa Ana, is 40 miles south of Downtown Los Angeles.
But, why is it so much nicer to fly to/from ONT? Because it’s Quicker, Better, and Faster.
Quicker
Time Is On Our Side
You can save 2+ hours flying into ONT versus LAX or SNA.
If you live in Southern California you know that everything said about bad traffic is true, particularly in Los Angeles and Orange County. The good news is, the traffic is considerably better 40 miles away here in Ontario. When comparing the traffic around LAX or SNA to the traffic around ONT… there’s no question. The traffic is always – ALWAYS – worse near LAX and SNA.
The traffic is often bad enough that even if you are in, or going to, Los Angeles – if that place is downtown or anywhere east of downtown you can get there faster by flying into ONT rather than LAX.
Better
Simply The Best
You can say that claiming something is better, or the best, is subjective. But, we have reasons to say ONT is the best airport to fly to/from in the area.
24 Hours a Day 7 Days a Week - Unlike other Southern California Airports, ONT has NO noise restrictions. That means that you can arrive at or depart from ONT at any time, 24 hours a day.
Location, Location, Location - Ontario is 40 miles from Downtown LA, 35 miles from Disneyland, 40 miles from mountain resorts; we’re right in the middle of everything, making our spot in Southern California very convenient.
Customer Service - The Guardian Jet Center offers ample state of the art facilities and a professionally trained staff. Our top priority is great customer service.
Faster
Pack Your Bags, We’ll Leave Tonight
Guardian Jet Center brings you all of the convenience of a large international airport with none of the stress. We are happy to accommodate the needs of passengers and pilots living in or visiting Southern California.
